Opening A Sphero SPRK+ And BOLT Without Destroying It Part 1

The SPHERO Bluetooth controlled balls are great but the batteries are inside its hard polycarbonate shell and once dead there is no replacement option available. To get to the batteries people have used hacksaws, bandsaws, lasers and heated wire, all destroy the Sphero Shell meaning that a cheaper plastic ornament shell has to be used which will break after a couple of drops or bangs or a lot of tape and glue. After many people watched my battery changing video on the SPRK+ they ask how do I do it. This two part video tells you how and highlights the ISSUES and PITFALLS faced in undertaking the opening of a sphero and in breaking the ultrasonic weld that holds it together. This Is How I Open A Sphero SPRK+ BOLT And Others Without Destroying It! Fortnite Lone Grandfather Sniper Taking Down Stark Industries And Ironman

My old arthritic fingers make it near impossible to beat the young bucks in fortnite with their super fast reactions and manual dexterity and there propensity run head first into the bullets and bombs and be re-spawned. I'm from an older Army where a hole in the arm or leg on a solo mission meant almost certain capture or death. Despite my lack of speed ability I've been in Fortnite Arena with some great players but always come second, if I can't find a sniper rifle. Where they get their on crazy leaping around and killing I get their uninjured using stealth and skill. Although I've had lots of the best in my rifle sights I know that unless I can make a slow takedown shot, tackling them is suicide. This is because I'm not aren't of the amazingly fast building, aiming and shooting. After the Success of my 'fixed1t 100+ Great Take-Down Snipes' and the fixed1t Fortnite Sniper School training videos, I decided it was time to put the training to a test, not up against the leaping crazies but with a Planned SOLO Mission In Realtime. I've tried to be inclusive, but any others I've worked with very quickly become bored and impulsive and get themselves killed LOL Some The Plan: After Scavenging For Shield And Weapons And Kit, Head To Stark Industries And Steal The Stark Helicopter From The Helipad. Using The Helicopter As Transport, Move Around The Site Sniping 95-100% Of Robot Henchmen On The Site, Before Taking Out Ironman And Taking Control Of The Stark Industries Complex. Any loss of shield or personal injury is classed as death and a MISSION FAIL! Therefore the mission must be carried out carefully. Unlike most fortnite missions the goal is not to Rambo in Guns Ablazing but to survive and complete the mission unharmed. There is a one hour window for this mission before reinforcements arrive. Fortnite Mythic Shark Map Waterskiing Tour The Google Cardboard 3D VR 180 Experience There major 3D VR Headset manufacturers are about to release their latest and greatest 3D VR headsets and the instinct of Tech Heads and Gamers is to rush out and buy anything new. Some years ago Google Cardboard was released or at least the Cardboard version of the 3D VR 180 phone accessory headset made of cardboard was released. Many people bought it and were disappointed now the new headsets are offering more. Personally like Quadraphonic Audio in the seventies and eighties of which I was an early adopter and great fan, these headsets offer much more than the hype. Now before you rush out and buy the latest headset you need to understand that for some, motion sickness was a real issue with VR and even if you don't get travel sick (as I do badly) the headset may upset you (strangely it doesn't make me sick). So I've created this crazy video using Fortnite Season 4, I glided to an area called 'Dirty Docks' and caught myself a rare, angry Legendary 'Mythic Shark' and rode it right around the outskirts of the Fortnite Season 4 map, performing jumps, stunts and massive accelerations (often to get away from other sharks). This video has everything in it to test your tolerance of VR 180 3D I advise you and others thinking of buying a fully enclosed 3D Headset put you phone into one of the cheap 3D 180 VR viewers and watch the entire video from start to finish. Watch it a maximum resolution. If at the end of it you are still feeling okay, not dizzy, nauseous or have a head or eye ache, then there is every chance you may be immune to the adverse VR effects and should be okay with the new 3D VR tech. However, if you have to stop part way, feeling, hot, sweaty and a little sick then 3D VR is not for you. The SPHERO BOLT Bluetooth controlled balls with amazing LED displays are great but the batteries are inside its hard polycarbonate shell and once dead! so is SPHERO with no replacement option. I bought this SPHERO BOLT as a present, as my Subscribers will tell you, fixed1t Scrooge likes to buy very expensive tech when it stops working so its cheap (you get more bang for your buck) and then repair it. In this way I can give top of the range presents for reasonable price of the cheapest. I've watched a number of battery changing videos on various SPHERO's and in all of them I fell about laughing watching people completely wreck the SPHERO ball with hacksaws, bandsaws, lasers, heated knives and wire to get access to the batteries. Then after changing the batteries there is no hard shell to put it SPHERO back into, so they put it into a cheap thin plastic ball which will crack and break at the first drop. So I devised my own fixed1t method to show they can be opened and worked on without totally destroying the shell. Banging and rattling none closing doors are annoying and can be very draughty. They are also a potential hazard if you have elderly relatives or inquisitive small children or pets looking for somewhere to mark or chew or for food stuff to steal. I had this problem with the door to my wife 'Chocolate Making Workshop' and here's how I fixed the stuck open door and loose fitting door hinges. As with all my fully tested and working videos they are deliberately long to fully explain why I am doing what I do, rather than short videos which barely able to give a solution and are near impossible to follow without replaying them again and again.

Cataloging My Increasing Number of Drives And Disks With DiskCatalogMaker

 If your like me, the data you have accumulated and continue to accumulate is enormous.  I just spent the last few weeks going through old drive looking for some software I developed decades ago, and thanks to an old copy of DiskCatalogMaker RE that came with my Mac Toast disc writing software from decades ago I managed to find what I was looking for.  I also bought a huge 1000 cd/dvd case to put my disks in for cataloguing then discovered that DiskCatalogMaker RE wont let me store the disk index number.  So I just upgraded to a full version and its great.

As a Toast user I got an extra discount which is great.  I did consider transferring the data to a filmmaker database I made but DiskCatalogMaker is faster and the file is smaller than I could create in filemaker.

This is great software and a must for keep those data hungry drives in check.

Food waste is a major problem world wide and also waste the people who buy it a huge amount of money. So anything we can do to reduce food waste whilst saving us money is a great thing, right? So here is a tip my wife devised to save us throwing away huge quantities for carrots we never got around to eating before they became inedible.

You may ask why did we buy more than we needed, well its cheaper to buy in bulk than in a few small packets that never seem to have enough in for a weeks shopping. What is a ZEBRA Tap Reseating Tool Set?

I have a leak from a mixer tap in a bathroom sink, but as its a mixer tap its not easy to see which of the taps is leaking or where the leak is coming from. Now most people think that you just turn off the water and dismantle to tap and put a new washer in it, but thats only part of the job. As I live in a very hard water area with severe limescale, replacing just the washer may give only brief relief from the leak if it works at all. To do the job properly I need a Tap Reseating Tool, and in the next couple of videos I'll show you how to check and prepare a reseating tool, how to find the tap leak, then how to use this Zebra Reseating Tool System to fix my leak properly and professionally saving me hundreds of dollars over several taps.
As my once new home is over 15 years and my arthritis is progressing, I plan to check out my other taps over the next few weeks so they will all last longer then my ability to fix them with my old arthritic hands LOL

Very Lazy Dogs Having A Duvet Day

For years I resisted having a dog then after I was made redundant my wife was looking for a dog as I was now working from home, which had always been the agreement, but I wasn't a dog lover. No much worse, I really couldn't stand having them sniffing a licking or jumping on me. That all changed when I met Bree, as soon as the rescue home brought her round and she ran around then sat by me and snuggled up to me in the garden I was smitten. Since then she's stolen my heart, and often my bed. Of course before Bree I always said, dogs should stay outside in kennels, then dogs should stay downstairs, dogs shouldn't go on the furniture, and eat only plain dog food but that all went to pot. Once Bree settled in Debbie suggested we going on a charity walk with Accolade Hounds, the charity we got Bree from. On the walk I was carrying three years old Oliver on my shoulders, when he saw Prince, a skinny dog with three legs and Oliver who played and chatted daily with my humanoid Robots and Robot dogs, announced that as I fix robots legs I'd make skippy a robot leg. At the walk rest stop I joked with the head of the charity about it over a rest break cup of tea and sausages for the dogs and the next thing I know she's ringing me up asking when she can bring him round. Prince almost didn't settle in as he and Bree were not happy bedfellows (in fact it was that we were ignorant to the fact that Lurchers, Saluki's and Greyhounds Like to play fight). Then one day I was out walking them when I found myself whistling the theme tune to the Australian Kids Programme 'Skippy The Bush Kangaroo' and I realised it was because Princes single back leg made him bounce like a Kangaroo, so I renamed him, Skippy. Then we had two wonderful dogs. But they have kind of taken over, but they are so loving and attentive its obvious why we allow it. During Covid19 lockdown they have been constant companions and such fun. But sometimes the stretch the boundaries like all teenagers as they did today!

T RAX Heavy Duty Racking System Metal Shelving Construction Nightmare Fix

I selected the T-RAX Heavy Duty Metal Shelving System from many of eBay as it have some pretty good reviews and looked straight forward to build. Its blue paint coat mild steel seems pretty strong as do the MDF (Micro Density Fibre Board) shelves.

The manual was poor and difficult to follow and once I started trying to put it together it turned into a frigging nightmare. It should be simple and straight forward but its not, poor design makes every piece a complete pain to place and secure. My 20 minute job took all afternoon for the first one, with three more to build. Luckily the methods I devised to construct it shorted the building of another shelf to just over 40 mins.

This is the Chinese AI Robot whose power circuitry I fried by plunging in the wrong power adapter, not imagining this high end item would no be reverse polarity protected I was wrong. With no word at all from the manufacturer or distributor to help I had to gerry rig a new charging procedure, which works thankfully.

He's not a bad Kung Fu artist for a robot, with great balance even on one leg, I hope you like the video and subscribe to the channel.

I purchased a second user working iPhone 5c but when I tried to set it up I discovered that the letter P would not work no matter what I tried so I decided to replace the touchscreen led panel myself.

In Part 1 - I tore down this iPhone 5c slowly and methodically to fix it and did it in such a way that others could if they had the skill and expertise do the same, at the own risk. If you haven't see part 1 here is the link which is also in the Part 2 video:

My Wife bought this beautiful statue of a baby rabbit and mother holding hands in a dancing pose made from a resin, possibly acrylic. Sadly the arms snapped and just gluing would definitely not work due to the weight and stresses caused by the pose. So here in Part 1 I set about preparing the statue for fixing by aligning and strengthening the statues. Watch out for my trip-paw Lurcher hound making a video guest appearence.

NO JUMPING AROUND WILDLY With Every Kill, The Main Thing I Always Try And Do, Is To Take Down Any Fellow Snippers Who Are Above Or In Line Of Sight To My Position. Although Other Shooters May See You, Their Weapons Don't Usually Have The Range If You Hang Back From The Mayhem A Minimum Of 100 Metres.

If Your Celestron NexImage Astro Photography Camera Worked Great On Windows 7 But
Upgrading To Windows 10 Apparently Killed It I Was In The Same Boat With "Not Supported"
From Celestron! So Here Is My Solution, I fixed1t.

I had the original CD-ROM that came with the camera, so installed the NEXimage Burst C driver software from the disk, and after installing it the camera just wasn't recognised, I downloaded the Philips software, but that too had no effect, only this solution highlighted the issue and fixed1t. I tested all of the cable I used with a USB scanner and all of them worked perfectly before and after using them on the Celestron NEXIMAGE BURST C. I hope this helps. Clear Skies. In Part 1 - I covered sniping from water, if you haven't seen Part 1 its well worth a watch, there is plenty to learn and see. In Part 2 I cover sniping from inside bushes. It sounds easy but unless you get it right you'll be taken out more often than you taking anybody else out or your visibility will be so poor you won't hit a barn door at 50 paces.

Great End Of Fortnite Season 2 Experience - the extend version pre and post Doomsday Explosion in slow motion.

I was told by my trainers to be there at the Agency when Fortnite season 2 ended, so I was on early and waited till the end and got this amazing slow motion footage. I was at Edinburgh University in the early 80's when we were learning to write programs in Algol to do fractals and the new maths of NURB surfaces were being developed and I was using them pulling a point at a time. How far it has come since the most amazing graphic was the BBC Micro spinning world achieved by switching the colours of the vertical lines on and off, to giving the elusion of spinning.

Fortnite Season 2 Finale was as amazing as they promised, and I was there, stood a the top of a giant staircase on the shores over looking the Agency as the Midas Doomsday Device Exploded. To say I had a birds eye view is an understatement, I was stood next to the huge lighting towers that came out of the water around me and whose electricity lifted me into the air.

I Long Range Sniped Over 30 People In The Amazing Battle For The Agency

But We Lost, The Midas Doomsday (Boomsday) Devices Rose From The Waters, Up To My Lookout Point High On A Giant Staircase Close To The Agency. Then BOOM!! It ExplodedSeason 2 Went Out With A Huge BANG!!

Well worth a watch if you weren't there, the Storm has now been replaced with a tsunami, and its a really pain.
