bushcampcodger Live PS4 8: What the heck happened in this insane match?

Hi all, I recently started trying to play Fortnite again on the PS4, for those who have been around the block a few times with me  @fixed1t  will know I did some Fortnite Sniper Tutorials many years back, then as the Arthritis in my hands got worse, leaving me with painful hands that only close to the point that they resemble Lego Film toy characters hands, I stopped. But Ollie mentioned that the bush camping style I'd used is now really popular I thought I'd start again from scratch, new account etc and to do it Live Streaming! yep I know utter madness. I can no longer build anything even slowly so its totally down to avoidance, stealth, cunning, natural camouflage and military techniques I learned over 45 years ago. Despite this I'm regularly in the top 10, frequently in the top 3, occasionally in the top 2 and rarely I win the Battle Royale. Now you may wonder how I can possibly get such high scores in survival when I can't do the most fundamental task needed for Fortnite ie Building Very Very Fast. Well I started last week and I got to Gold 3 and wanted to try a competition only to be told that as I was under 13 I needed parental guidance, a bit hard when your in your late 60's with both parents dead, so the account must have been hacked whilst I was away. Thus the restart. If you think your too old and don't play Fortnite or computer games as its 'for the kids' then please do yourself a favour and watch this video, if it doesn't make you laugh as I panic my way through the game, I'll be surprised, playing it hilarious and for this video i've even put numbered bookmarks in the video description so you can quickly and instantly skip to the funny bits start and end and the Finale was quite frankly insane, as I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the hell was going on.

Play Fortnite Or Minecraft Or Learn To Throw A Boomerang?

One of the many statements I've heard over the last few decades, perhaps even longer, is that kids always need the latest and best technology or gadgets to play with, the notion being they are more sophisticated and that unlike in my day LOL kids wouldn't be happy fishing in ponds and throwing sticks or beating bicycle wheel frames with a stick till they roll. Young Oliver is one such child a Fortnite and Minecraft Master always locked to his iPad so when he and his brother Pascal comes out with Uncle Malcolm its great to do something different. A few weeks ago on one of my Sunday support days for Pascal (who is on the autistic spectrum) Pascal demanded to visit a castle. Some people take these demands literally and most castles are closed and a long way away. But a short chat with Pascal and we decided a castle was a building with towers and battlements so I found a UK 16th Century Monastery Ashridge House that met the criteria and when I showed it to Pascal he agreed its a small Castle. As usual I took young Oliver along with us and off we went. Sadly when we got there the House was closed to visitors due to covid19 but with a huge Hindu Wedding in progress and the grounds were also closed. It didn't take Oliver long to decide he was bored and that he wanted to go back to my place to play Fortnite et al. But I'd spotted three empty football pitches close by so I said we weren't going home until we'd thrown some sticks around the football pitches, I got the full huff shoulder drop sigh and I Oliver said "Really", so I said not any sticks we'd go find some boomerangs and throw them and off I went. Oliver and Pascal eventually followed me. This video is an edited version of the fun we had for over an hour and half, with Oliver, Pascal and I throwing boomerangs and Pascal sunbathing under a tree. It came as no surprise to me that Oliver was enthralled with this stick throwing and was actually very good at it, although he did nearly take my head off several times with one time me having to do a goalies dive out of the way, when I wasn't paying attention LOL As they used to say in Hill Street Blues - Be Careful Out There. So if you have children, and have things you used to like doing as a child don't assume they won't be interested in it and feed them tech. Fortnite Grandad Squads Alex Leads Squad To Victory Royale

fixed1t_fixer Fortnite (May 22 2021) Got a shout from #AlexbrawlGod who hasn't coached me for a while who was with some friends. So we teamed up for Fortnite Squads, being old and slow I don't have the reaction times but I try to help where I can. I just hoped the rest of the squad would be as patient with fixed1t as Alex has always been, time will tell. This game is such great escapism and despite being harmless fun it reminds me of my time in the military which is possibly why I don't run guns blazing in a melee but tend to use cover and move in shade and in valleys rather than jumping up and down on the top of the hills, roofs, bridges and cars LOL Despite being killed by some protective god, then resuscitated by Alex I went on to still be alive an taking active role against the final ten, but #AlexbrawlGod really was amazing. Fortnite Arena Trios Grandad Plus Two Young Sweaty's

If you are spending your time moaning about how much time youngsters are gaming, how brain numbing and intellect wrecking it is and how anti social they are, then join them in the game and you'll discover its none of that, they are part of a vibrant, intellectual and socially challenging collective that challenges not only their reactions, perspective and moral compass, but that makes them equal whatever their age, colour or creed. If you think they don't have friends check the games friends list its a massive multinational conglomeration and they are as likely to be singing english songs as well as french german dutch russian arabic they've picked up from online friends etc etc one big crazy family.  In real life you can most likely count their friends on one hand and online they need a hundred.  You ask them to join you, why not join them you'll be surprised at their gaming age and abilities, I know I always am.

These friends of Oliver wanted me to make a Fortnite video of us playing, and they were good very good saving my life several times whilst putting themselves in danger to do it because they cared.

If your lonely, and feel you have no friends, play an online game and with a few days you'll have lots of new friends.

Fortnite Worst Player One Shot 2nd Place So Close To A Win

Yesterday Oliver aka #trickshotmaster2022 introduced my alter ego #fixed1t_fixer to ONE SHOT another crazy variant in Fortnite which was full of incredibly skilled 'Sweaty' players who can No Scope snipe somebody whilst flying through the air and bouncing around. I didn't do at all well, so I decided I'd have another go in the early hours. The first few games I obtained 16th, 9th and an 8th all of which was pretty good as you start of against 100 skilled players (I know they are killed because the unskilled players who don't like being slaughtered avoid such things). The last game before I went to my bed in the wee hours I got a stunning 2nd place against a flying sniping sweaty DEKU_0023 As usual my slow painful old arthritic fingers weren't quick enough and my reactions quick enough to pull off the win. This was made worse by the fact I was stupid enough to alert DEKU_0023 to my presence rather than doing my usual of waiting for the shot. But if only there were disability options that allowed me to build with the few remaining working fingers I'm left with. Fortnite Lone Grandfather Sniper Taking Down Stark Industries And Ironman

My old arthritic fingers make it near impossible to beat the young bucks in fortnite with their super fast reactions and manual dexterity and there propensity run head first into the bullets and bombs and be re-spawned. I'm from an older Army where a hole in the arm or leg on a solo mission meant almost certain capture or death. Despite my lack of speed ability I've been in Fortnite Arena with some great players but always come second, if I can't find a sniper rifle. Where they get their on crazy leaping around and killing I get their uninjured using stealth and skill. Although I've had lots of the best in my rifle sights I know that unless I can make a slow takedown shot, tackling them is suicide. This is because I'm not aren't of the amazingly fast building, aiming and shooting. After the Success of my 'fixed1t 100+ Great Take-Down Snipes' and the fixed1t Fortnite Sniper School training videos, I decided it was time to put the training to a test, not up against the leaping crazies but with a Planned SOLO Mission In Realtime. I've tried to be inclusive, but any others I've worked with very quickly become bored and impulsive and get themselves killed LOL Some The Plan: After Scavenging For Shield And Weapons And Kit, Head To Stark Industries And Steal The Stark Helicopter From The Helipad. Using The Helicopter As Transport, Move Around The Site Sniping 95-100% Of Robot Henchmen On The Site, Before Taking Out Ironman And Taking Control Of The Stark Industries Complex. Any loss of shield or personal injury is classed as death and a MISSION FAIL! Therefore the mission must be carried out carefully. Unlike most fortnite missions the goal is not to Rambo in Guns Ablazing but to survive and complete the mission unharmed. There is a one hour window for this mission before reinforcements arrive. Fortnite Mythic Shark Map Waterskiing Tour The Google Cardboard 3D VR 180 Experience There major 3D VR Headset manufacturers are about to release their latest and greatest 3D VR headsets and the instinct of Tech Heads and Gamers is to rush out and buy anything new. Some years ago Google Cardboard was released or at least the Cardboard version of the 3D VR 180 phone accessory headset made of cardboard was released. Many people bought it and were disappointed now the new headsets are offering more. Personally like Quadraphonic Audio in the seventies and eighties of which I was an early adopter and great fan, these headsets offer much more than the hype. Now before you rush out and buy the latest headset you need to understand that for some, motion sickness was a real issue with VR and even if you don't get travel sick (as I do badly) the headset may upset you (strangely it doesn't make me sick). So I've created this crazy video using Fortnite Season 4, I glided to an area called 'Dirty Docks' and caught myself a rare, angry Legendary 'Mythic Shark' and rode it right around the outskirts of the Fortnite Season 4 map, performing jumps, stunts and massive accelerations (often to get away from other sharks). This video has everything in it to test your tolerance of VR 180 3D I advise you and others thinking of buying a fully enclosed 3D Headset put you phone into one of the cheap 3D 180 VR viewers and watch the entire video from start to finish. Watch it a maximum resolution. If at the end of it you are still feeling okay, not dizzy, nauseous or have a head or eye ache, then there is every chance you may be immune to the adverse VR effects and should be okay with the new 3D VR tech. However, if you have to stop part way, feeling, hot, sweaty and a little sick then 3D VR is not for you. 3D VR Slo Mo Fortnite Original 2017 Throwback Battle Royale Gameplay Trailer
I found this Amazing Original Fortnight 2017 Trailer, the graphics are nowhere near as clean as todays it just shows how far things have advance in just 3 years, but still utterly brilliant for the time, the trailer has really fast action on it so its difficult to see how things worked way back then, so I've slowed it down and made it into 3D VR 180 aka Google Chrome so viewers can put on their Phone VR headsets and be there.
