Thermal Camera Hedgehog Tracking

Having built the  @fixed1t  Hedgehog House https://youtu.be/KkqJnGNwcLc and the Hedgehog feeding station https://youtu.be/hIZQqTWwPO0 I need to do some Thermal Camera Hedgehog Tracking with my HikVision Thermal Camera (see details below) along with my Dual Lens Nightvision Train Cam as are fence is being replaced due to old age, very wet year and storm damage. As 'Edgy' is currently not living in the Hedgehog House but getting into the garden by some means I haven't found, I decide the best thing to do is Thermally Track him at a distance as if I get close he runs away or just curls into a ball. The problem is there is a huge pile of stuff and plants growing up and dumped by people against our back fence and I'm concerned if he's live there he may get cut or crushed by our fence builders. Dog Training To Stop Separation Anxiety

This follow up  @fixed1t  video explains the best method for Dog Training To Stop Separation Anxiety and it works by associating my leaving with a positive happy event ie a damn good treat to chew on. This works brilliantly every time, and occasional boarding dogs pick it up really quickly. Also surprising is how gently Skippy takes the chew treat from me (not his usual get it fast before it goes method) thereby showing how relaxed he is about me going and relaxed that I will be back. Sometimes he doesn't eat the chew straight away but waiting till we return, I suppose a type of hoarding behaviour r in case we a slow to return. I hope you like it, please subscribe. Hedgehog Protective Feeding Station Build

Watch till them end to see if Edgy comes to dine. After spotting a hedgehog (now nicknamed Edgy as he goes around the edges) in my garden at dusk so late in the year when it should be hibernating and building a @fixed1t hedgehog house from slabs and bricks, I thought I'd better get on and build 'Edgy and co-habiting Bounce the mouse' a feeding station. My kind Hedgehog Rescuing friends sent me a picture of theirs, so I grabbed an old box and set about the task. Its was relatively straight forward when you remember you 'can't saw plastic boxes without them shattering' so heat must be used. I hope you like it and so do they. #fixed1t video After spotting a hedgehog in my garden at dusk so late in the year when it should be hibernating I decided to set about building a hedgehog house from slabs and bricks for him or her a  @fixed1t  house from some of the building materials in the garden and provide it with food and straw so if it didn't have a place to hibernate nearby I'd make it one. When I went to clear the area a field mouse jumped from a plant pot filled with dry grass and hid under the greenhouse, so I decide to make the Hedgehog house a dual occupancy residence with space for the Hedgehog and the field mouse. This video is an amazing Time-Lapse Video Of A Beautiful Cedar Wood Greenhouse Build. As my wife and I both near retirement age, the garden is becoming more attractive to spend time relaxing without all those work pressures and a chance to grow more of our own food and flowers. We've debated getting a greenhouse for years and my wife Debbie decided to invest some of her recent bonuses in a beautiful cedar wood lean-to greenhouse and with the base laid, the greenhouse designed by Debbie arrived and was erected by two great guys overseen by Skippy and Bree. I spent the day before scouting out the best place to video from and with their permission I decided to time-lapse the whole construction process so Debbie could watch it at her leisure as she was busy working during the build. It looks and smells amazing we are really impressed. There were a few things like the water butt we asked them not to finish as we weren't sure about the height and position. Learning point for us: when you have a base laid make sure its higher than the surrounding earth as we had to dig out for the door LOL but that gave me a great chance to use a new toy and the video will be along shortly ;-) The music track is "Flight of Fancy" and was composed by me with input from my great mate and musical collaborator Matt Preston during a crazy day in my Tardis, great times. Amazing Fig Crop On Small Fig Tree

Last year @fixed1t we got just 4 small gigs off our small potted fig tree. At the start of this year there were a few budlets (baby fig nodes) on the plant but they fell off in the frost, and we thought it was going to be another year with no fig’s. But The poor U.K. summer weather for holidaying with constant rain and occasional sun this year has in fact been great for our fig.
