Last year @fixed1t we got just 4 small gigs off our small potted fig tree. At the start of this year there were a few budlets (baby fig nodes) on the plant but they fell off in the frost, and we thought it was going to be another year with no fig’s. But The poor U.K. summer weather for holidaying with constant rain and occasional sun this year has in fact been great for our fig.
With daily watering into the tray and weekly feeding it’s actually payed off. Please let me know how yours are doing in this climate changing world Malcolm aka @fixed1t
In this blog you will find my fixes and repairs to some existing old and some new technology. I've tried to make them as simple as possible so anybody can do them. Thanks for looking. Regards Malcolm (aka fixed1t)

Harvesting Home Grown Potatoes From My Potato Grow Bag Sack
There is something satisfying and tasty about eating your own home grown produce, and is very carbon friendly, i.e. straight from garden to kitchen to mouth. In this video I'm Harvesting Potatoes From My Potato Grow Sack in the follow up video I will harvest from a sack the compost came in, which is best? #fixed1tgardening
